U. S. Department of Energy AIRMaster+ Certification
Memphis TN – November 21, 2011– AIM Power & Fluids, a leading distributor of compressed air systems, announced today that the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has certified one of its employees as Qualified AIRMaster+ Specialist.
AIM Power & Fluids, Memphis Branch Manager - David Hollis, has earned the certification after rigorous training and testing that included classroom instruction, a practical exam testing hands-on measurement, and a written exam.
There are currently less than 250 Qualified AIRMaster+ Specialists in the U.S., and David Hollis is one of only five in the state Tennessee.
The AIRMaster+ certification is part of the DOE industrial technologies program, with a mission to "bring a prosperous future where energy is clean, reliable, abundant and affordable." DOE and the Compressed Air Challenge® recognize Qualified AIRMaster+ Specialists for their ability to use the AIRMaster+ software effectively to help their plant or industrial customers identify ways to improve compressed air system efficiency. Used properly, AIRMaster+ is a powerful tool for modeling "what if" scenarios for possible improvements to compressed air systems.
